About the Internship

This internship is part of the Fundraising Department within the Retention and Loyalty Team.

As an intern, you will:

  • Support fundraising events and donor engagement activities
  • Assist with administration and event logistics
  • Interact with donors and respond to queries
  • Gain hands-on experience in CRM systems, fundraising campaigns, and customer care

Key Responsibilities

Events and Engagement Support

  • Organise fundraising events: marathons, webinars, school visits
  • Track donations via EFT and crowdfunding platforms like GivenGain
  • Support event logistics and merchandise delivery
  • Communicate with donors and encourage engagement

Donor Support and Communication

  • Respond to donor queries via email and phone
  • Update donor profiles and records on the CRM system
  • Ensure timely donor acknowledgment and communication

Administration and Reporting

  • Maintain digital and physical fundraising records
  • Assist with SOP writing and quality checks
  • Support CRM updates and database management
  • Contribute to donor retention KPI improvements

Minimum Requirements

Education: National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:

  • Marketing
  • Business Administration
  • Public Relations
  • Communications

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
