Internship Overview
This role offers hands-on exposure within Macsteel’s Shipping Department, focusing on imports, exports, logistics coordination, and administrative support. Interns will gain practical experience in shipping documentation, transport processes, and customer order handling.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
- Be able to communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak)
- Be 20–28 years old
- Be available to commit to the full 12-month programme
- Meet all requirements (selection is merit-based)

The Demand Planner Internship provides exposure to forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain planning. Interns will support the demand planning team through data analysis, reporting, and customer demand forecasting.

- Communicate effectively in English
- Be 20–28 years old
- Be willing and able to complete a 12-month internship
- Meet merit-based selection criteria

- Assist with administrative tasks

- Assist with data collection and analysis
- Help develop product demand plans
- Identify customer needs and support planning accordingly
