About the Traxtion Apprenticeship Programme 2026

Traxtion is recruiting Diesel Electrical Fitter Apprentices to train at its Rail Services Hub Training Centre in Rosslyn, Pretoria.

This apprenticeship:

Runs for three years
Includes structured technical and workplace training
Leads to assessment through the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO)
Qualifies you as a Diesel Electrical Fitter (Artisan) upon successful completion

Matric with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English
N2 qualification in related trade subjects
Preferably aged 18–25 years
Good written and verbal communication skills in English

- Technical Engineering
- Diesel Fitting
- Electrical Fitting
Previous experience in rail or transport industries
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word)
