Academic Requirement (Matric Applicants)

Who Cannot Apply?
You are NOT eligible if you:
- Are currently employed
- Receive a stipend (learnership/internship)
- Worked as an EA between 2022–2024
- Are an educator or education assistant
What Does an Examination Assistant Do?
EAs support the exam process by:
- Handling and sorting exam scripts
- Assisting marking centre administration
- Verifying marks and totals
- Organising documents
- Supporting data capturing teams
These roles help ensure fair and accurate exam results nationwide.
Working Conditions You Must Know
This is intensive work, so be prepared:
- 08:00 – 20:00 daily
- Monday to Sunday (including holidays)
- 10 hours per day
- No overtime pay
- No leave during marking period
- No transport or accommodation
