Job Purpose
The SHE Intern will support the Site SHE Coordinator in implementing systems that reduce occupational health, safety, and environmental risks.
Interns work under the supervision of a SHE Coordinator, SHE Lead, or SHE Manager, helping maintain an effective SHE management system, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement at site level.

Key Responsibilities
The successful intern will assist with:
- Updating and maintaining SHE procedures
- Reviewing and conducting Risk Assessments, Aspects & Impacts
- Supporting incident investigations
- Communicating SHE procedure changes via meetings, notice boards, and on-site screens
- Assisting with safety training planning and coordination
- Collating SHE statistics and performance data
- Supporting audits and corrective action implementation
(hygiene, housekeeping, inspections, first aid boxes) - Maintaining SHE action trackers
- Selecting and delivering two key SHE improvement projects
- Conducting Contractor SHE Inductions
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must hold a completed qualification in:
- Safety
- Occupational Health
- Environmental Management or Environmental Science
- Diploma in Risk Management
Preferred Qualification
- Advanced degree in Environmental Sustainability
