About the Packaging Learnership Programme

The Packaging Learnership is a one-year programme that combines theoretical training with practical workplace experience in a real manufacturing environment.

Learners will be enrolled in a SAQA-registered National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging (NQF Level 3) and assessed against nationally recognised unit standards.

The programme includes:

  • On-the-job training (practical experience)
  • Off-the-job training (theoretical learning)
  • Continuous assessments to measure workplace competence

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Have Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and English
  • Be unemployed South African youth
  • Be self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be able to work well within a team
