Who Should Apply?
The programme is ideal for young people passionate about electrical work who want structured training and a pathway into a skilled career.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must have one of the following:
- NTC 3 technical qualification (Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, or Heavy Current subjects) + Matric
- Technical Matric (Grade 12 – English, Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Physical Science + 1 other subject)
- NCV 4 Electrical qualification (7 subjects)
Additional Requirements:
- Strong passion for the electrical field
- Must reside within the City of Cape Town
- Valid driver’s licence (Code C1 / old Code 10 recommended)
- Must not have qualified in any trade yet
- Must not hold a National Senior Diploma or higher
