Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Completed B-Degree or equivalent in HR, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, or Labour Relations
- Strong academic performance (top-performing students preferred)
- Excellent English communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Advantageous:
- Exposure to Scubed, Sage, or Neptune systems
- Reliable own transport
- Honours degree
- Leadership roles on campus

Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Trainee, you will gain experience across all areas of HR, including:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support recruitment processes: adverts, candidate screening, scheduling, reference checks
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes
- Assist with employee exits
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Assist with Employee Relations administration (meeting minutes, schedules, documentation)
- Support audits and compliance processes
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data (POPIA-compliant)
Payroll & HR Administration
- Capture and validate monthly payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, changes, overtime, leave)
- Print and distribute payslips for Wages employees
- Liaise with HR Specialists/Administrators as needed
Learning & Development
- Support training coordination and administration
- Assist with HR events and employee engagement activities (wellness days, red carpet events)
General Duties
- Prepare HR reports for management
- Contribute to process improvements
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned
