Macsteel Service Centres SA is inviting BBBEE candidates to apply for its Production Technology Learnership in Cape Town. This programme combines theoretical training with practical workplace exposure in production operations, aiming to equip learners with technical skills for a career in manufacturing and production technology.

Programme Overview

The 12-month learnership provides:

  • Practical experience in production processes and machine operations
  • Theoretical training in production technology and workplace systems

Intake is merit-based. Candidates not meeting the minimum criteria will not be considered.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Minimum 50% in English
  • Minimum 50% in Mathematics or 60% in Mathematical Literacy
  • Proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
  • Age between 18–28
  • Availability to commit to the full 12-month programme
  • Willingness to work a 3-shift system
  • Reside in Bellville, Cape Town, or surrounding areas
