Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship Programme 2026
The Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship provides both theoretical and practical training, preparing young South Africans for careers in diesel mechanics.
Programme Details
- Qualification: Occupational Certificate – Diesel Mechanic
- Duration: 36 months
- Stipend: R3 000/month
- Opportunities Available: 28
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen
- Aged 18–35
- Must be unemployed
- Minimum qualification:
- Matric with Mathematics OR
- N2 / NCV Level 3 or higher with relevant trade theory

Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) Programme
