Bergrivier Municipality is inviting suitably qualified graduates to apply for two internship opportunities in Financial Services and Internal Auditing and Risk Management. Financial Services Internship Requirements
Applicants must have a three-year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma with majors in one or more of the following:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Finance
- Internal Auditing
- Risk Management
Applicants must also have:
- Computer literacy
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to speak, read and write at least two official Western Cape languages (Afrikaans, English or isiXhosa)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong report-writing skills
- Accounting and numeracy skills
- Knowledge of financial management processes
- Basic knowledge of reconciliations
- Knowledge of supply chain management
Internal Auditing and Risk Management Internship Requirements
Applicants must hold a three-year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in:
- Internal Auditing; and/or
- Risk Management
Applicants should also have:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
