Johannesburg City Parks & Zoo, in partnership with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE), has opened applications for the Municipal Youth Graduate Programme 2026.
A total of 60 graduate internship positions are available for unemployed youth living in the City of Johannesburg.
If you hold a Diploma or Degree and are between 18–35 years old, this could be your opportunity to gain paid workplace experience in environmental management, conservation, project management, and more.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have Matric plus 3 years tertiary study (M+3)
- Hold a Degree or Diploma (NQF Level 6, 360 credits)
- Be aged 18–35 years
- Reside within the City of Johannesburg
- Be currently unemployed
