Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Physically and mentally fit
- Ability to lift and use cleaning machinery and equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with a hospital or healthcare environment
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean offices, toilets, passages, clinical areas, and patient waiting areas
- Mop, polish floors, dust furniture, and clean windows and walls
- Clean outside areas around the facility
- Remove general and medical waste bags safely
- Follow Infection Prevention and Control policies
- Adhere to Health Care Risk Waste Management procedures
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by the Supervisor
