Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
  • Degree or National Diploma in Human Resource Management or Labour Relations
  • 5 years’ experience in Labour Relations
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Labour Relations legislation and policies
    • Conflict resolution
    • Disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Good communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle grievances, disciplinary cases, and abscondment matters
  • Represent the Department at Conciliation and Arbitration proceedings
  • Manage staff relations to support quality service delivery
  • Assist in developing staff relations policies and practices
  • Identify training gaps and support in-service training programmes
  • Investigate and preside over internal enquiries
