What Is the DSAC Youth Employment Database?
The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) has opened its Youth Employment Database for 2026, inviting young South African graduates to register for future contract placement opportunities within the department.
This initiative allows DSAC to identify and recruit young talent when opportunities become available across sport, arts, culture, heritage, libraries, archives, communication, and administration.
⚠️ Important: This is not a guaranteed job offer, but a strategic opportunity to be considered for future placements.

- A South African youth aged 18–35
- In possession of a relevant qualification

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be 18–35 years old
- Hold a National Diploma, Degree, or Postgraduate qualification
- Not be participating in any government-funded internship, learnership, or programme
- Be willing to undergo:
- Recruitment and selection processes
- Z83 form completion
- Personnel suitability checks
💡 Work experience (1–2 years) is an advantage, not a requirement.
