What Is the DSAC Youth Employment Database?

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) has opened its Youth Employment Database for 2026, inviting young South African graduates to register for future contract placement opportunities within the department.

This initiative allows DSAC to identify and recruit young talent when opportunities become available across sport, arts, culture, heritage, libraries, archives, communication, and administration.

⚠️ Important: This is not a guaranteed job offer, but a strategic opportunity to be considered for future placements.

Who Should Apply?

You should apply if you are:

  • South African youth aged 18–35
  • In possession of a relevant qualification
  • Passionate about contributing to national development
  • Looking to gain government or public sector experience

Even if you have no work experience, you are encouraged to apply.
