Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC) is inviting qualified graduates to apply for a 24-month Employee Health and Wellness Internship at its Corporate Centre in Germiston.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates in Psychology or Social Sciences who want to gain hands-on experience in employee wellness within a public sector environment.
Internship Overview
- Position: Employee Health and Wellness Intern

- Location: Corporate Centre, Germiston, Gauteng
- Duration: 24 Months
- Stipend: R7 860.50 per month
- Closing Date: 27 February 2026
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BA in Psychology OR
- BA in Social Sciences
⚠️ Candidates who have previously completed an internship are not eligible to apply.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist the Employee Health and Wellness unit with:
- Coordinating health and wellness programmes
- Providing supervised basic counselling and staff support
- Performing wellness-related administrative duties
- Assisting with wellness assessments
- Supporting data collection and reporting
This internship provides valuable exposure to Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), staff wellbeing initiatives, and HR wellness administration.
