Heineken International B.V. is offering an exciting People Internship for final-year students pursuing qualifications in Human Resources, Education, Training, or Development.
This 18-month internship provides practical workplace experience, supporting students in completing the requirements of their tertiary qualifications.

Purpose of the Internship
The People Internship is designed to give hands-on experience in HR and Learning & Development functions. Interns will assist with coordination, administration, and reporting of key learning interventions across the business.
The programme provides exposure to:
- HR operations and business partnering
- Learning and development coordination
- Administrative processes in a corporate environment
Key Responsibilities
As a People Intern, you will:
- Capture and process Purchase Orders for the People Team
- Coordinate learnership programmes end-to-end (recruitment, contracting, registration)
- Support the Learning team with administration and reporting of training initiatives
- Assist People Partners on HR and People initiatives
- Organise virtual onboarding sessions
- Handle administrative support on various projects
- Support catering, travel arrangements, and vendor processes
- Manage Learner Management System (LMS) administration, including class closure and learning reports
- Align learning and skills development with Employment Equity and transformation objectives
- Verify data and reports, coordinate grant funding processes with internal/external stakeholders

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Final-year students pursuing a Degree or Diploma in HR, Education, Training, or Development
- Computer literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
- Must be a South African citizen
