The Construction Education & Training Authority is offering a Facilities Internship in Midrand, giving you exposure to a wide range of administrative, operational, and reporting functions.
This is a part-time internship designed for motivated candidates who want to understand how a SETA functions as a corporate and public entity
What You’ll Do
As a Facilities Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- Performing administrative and functionary tasks at entry level
- Handling correspondence and maintaining records and files
- Supporting unit budgeting processes and audits
- Assisting with data collection for monthly and quarterly reports
- Preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and presentations
- Rotational exposure to different tasks across divisions to build holistic knowledge
You’ll also develop a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, policies, and laws relevant to SETAs, including: Skills Development Act, PFMA, BBBEE, Employment Equity, and more.
Who Should Apply
- South African citizens under 35 years old with a valid ID
- Post-matric qualification from a recognised institution
- Applicants must not have previously participated in a SETA internship or been employed before
- Relevant qualifications include:
- BTech/ND Facilities Management
- Bachelors in Operations Management
- BCom/ND Logistics Management
- Bachelors/ND OHS or equivalent
