In partnership with Services SETA and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Tshwane South TVET College is offering eligible N6 graduates the opportunity to participate in its 2026 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme.
What Is Work Integrated Learning (WIL)?
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is a mandatory practical component required for students pursuing a National Technical Certificate (N6 Diploma) in South Africa.
After completing theoretical studies from N1 to N6, students must complete 18 months of approved workplace experience before being awarded their qualification.
This structured programme ensures:
- Supervised workplace training
- Compliance with DHET requirements
- Official recognition under Services SETA
- A clear pathway to obtaining your N6 Diploma
Fields Covered
The 2026 WIL Programme is open to students who have completed:
- Tourism N6
- Hospitality N6
These fields fall within the Services SETA scope, covering industries such as:
- Travel and tourism
- Accommodation services
- Food and beverage
- Hospitality management
- Related service sectors
⚠️ Only students who have completed their N6 qualification in Tourism or Hospitality are eligible to apply.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have completed N6 in Tourism or Hospitality
- Require 18 months of workplace exposure
- Be a South African citizen

Incomplete applications may not be considered.

- In-service letter from the college confirming enrolment or N6 completion
