The University of South Africa (UNISA) is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for its 12-month Internship Programme 2026. This opportunity is strictly open to UNISA graduates who have completed qualifications at NQF Level 6 and above.
If you are under 35, have no prior work experience, and want structured workplace exposure at one of South Africa’s largest universities, this programme is for you.
Internship Overview
- Programme Duration: 12 Months (Non-renewable)
- Stipend: R127 576.00 per annum
- Start Date: 01 April 2026
- Closing Date: 27 February 2026 (23:59)
- Locations: Pretoria (Muckleneuk) & Florida Campus
- Eligibility: UNISA Graduates only
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be 35 years or younger
- Have completed a UNISA qualification (NQF 6 and above)
- Have no prior work experience
- Not have been previously employed at UNISA or any other organisation
- Indicate the correct reference number and UNISA student number on the portal
