Programme Overview
The Earthmoving Mechanic Apprenticeship falls under the Equipment Business Unit within Operations and Technical.
Successful candidates will receive:
- Structured theoretical training
- Practical workshop exposure
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving and construction equipment

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and Science (minimum 50%)
OR
- N2 Certificate from a TVET/FET College including:
- Mathematics
- Diesel Trade Theory
- Engineering Drawings
- Engineering Science
Added Advantage:
- Experience in a vehicle maintenance environment
Competencies Required:
- Strong willingness to learn
- Commitment to completing both theory and practical components
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team

As an apprentice, you will:
- Assist qualified Artisans with servicing and repairs
- Support daily workshop activities
- Attend equipment breakdowns in the field
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
- Carry out reasonable instructions from Team Leaders
