Feltex Automotive is seeking a Graduate Trainee in Health and Safety Management to join its team in East London.
This opportunity is perfect for passionate graduates eager to build a career in Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Management. No prior work experience is required — just enthusiasm, commitment, and a strong willingness to learn.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Safety Management

Key Responsibilities
Policies & Procedures
- Ensure compliance with company SHE policies and procedures
Safety Management
- Promote safe working practices
- Monitor workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance
- Conduct preliminary incident investigations
- Identify workplace hazards
- Advise on SHE requirements for new projects
- Attend SHE meetings and perform secretariat duties
Systems
- Maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Safety Management Systems
- Update and manage SHE systems on SharePoint
Audits
- Assist during SHE and Risk Audits
Training
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness training
- Assist with SHE induction training
- Coordinate emergency drills
General Duties
- Update SHE notice boards
- Execute day-to-day SHE functions at the plant
