About Skills Development Corporation (SDC)
Our Origins
Skills Development Corporation was founded after years of hands-on experience in B-BBEE compliance and Skills Development management.
In 2012, founder Daniel Gibhard began advising organisations on B-BBEE legal compliance and the interpretation of the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. By 2014, it became clear that many companies were investing in training programmes that delivered poor outcomes and limited compliance value.
To address this gap, SDC was established as a transparent, efficient, and results-driven alternative for managing Skills Development within the B-BBEE framework.
