About the EmpowerED Bursary Scheme
The EmpowerED Bursary Scheme is part of Avemel’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiative. It aims to empower deserving South African students, helping them gain education, industry-relevant skills, and access to career opportunities aligned with Avemel’s operations.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be South African students entering their first year of tertiary studies
- Be accepted at a recognised tertiary institution
- Be enrolled in one of these fields:
- Supply Chain & Logistics
- Finance & Administrative Studies
- IT-related fields
- Be willing to work in Durban with Avemel after graduation
This bursary is national, but successful candidates must commit to Durban-based employment after completing their studies.
What the Bursary Offers
