What You’ll Do
As an Africa Division Intern, you will work closely with HRW researchers on projects in South Africa and Eswatini. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting desk research and small research assignments
- Monitoring media coverage and compiling reports
- Analyzing data and identifying key human rights issues
- Drafting documents and assisting in planning meetings
- Supporting projects aligned with your skills and interests
- Attending workshops, lectures, and human rights events
This internship gives you real exposure to international human rights work and strengthens your research, writing, and advocacy skills.
